Duncan Betts led the design and delivery of more than 14 residential buildings as Principal Architect and Partner at Rothelowman between 2018-2023 with a combined gross realisation value exceeding $2 billion. Working alongside SEQ's most prominent property developers — including Cbus Property, Mosaic Property Group, Sekisui House, Arklife and Traders in Purple — Duncan built an exceptional track record in delivering market-leading residential architecture across Brisbane and the Gold Coast at scale.

During this period, Duncan co-led the Queensland studio to a team of over 60 architects and interior designers, developing deep expertise across the full breadth of residential architecture — from concept through to construction — across build-to-sell, build-to-rent, and mixed-use typologies.

Informed by over 22 years of industry experience and a high-performance sporting background as a Queensland Academy of Sport and Australian Institute of Sport cricket scholarship holder, Duncan founded Betts+Partners in 2024 to channel this depth of Tier 1 national practice experience into a specialised boutique studio — one purposefully designed to deliver exceptional residential architecture and interior design for discerning clients throughout South-East Queensland.
